You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. The second is you shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two hang all the law.

Notice the last sentence, this summary of the law sums up the complete Gospel message of how to respond to God’s love. But often it is missed out of Sunday services completely, or rattled through, so we just say the words without thought.

This is a seven study course aimed at house groups, or lent groups. It looks at each section of the commandment and offers challenges of what it may mean today. It sets questions to be talked about, but no answers are given. What and how you end up loving God and Neighbour are down to you.
